This was my very first time applying lash extension clusters (I've previously only applied lash strips), and I was very pleased to discover that they're a breeze to put on. I imagined that they would be difficult to apply, being my first time and all, but it was much easier and quicker than expected. I'm a DIY girl in general, so the application may have been easier for me to grasp than for another beginner, but in a general sense, it's safe to say they're beginner-friendly. You follow the instructions--curl your natural lashes, apply a coat of the bond, apply the clusters, then a layer of the seal, and boom, you're done. The lashes are good quality; they are very soft and lightweight--it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. The glue worked great too--they stuck as they were supposed to, without issue. I didn't realize they went up to 16mm, so I used an 8mm cluster, 10mm x 2, and a 12mm, which gave me a very natural and pretty look. I enjoy a natural and classic look, so it worked out fine for me, but next time, I'll try the longer sizes for a bit more of a dramatic effect. The kit comes with everything you need (clusters, bond and seal, tweezers, and remover).I'll update my review as to the waterproof claim and longevity of the lashes, but so far, so good!Update: This set lasted me almost three months. I don't know if I've gotten better at applying them or if the chemistry of the products changed, but after the first 2 or 3 times, they lasted longer. They went from lasting about 5 days to at least 7. I never got them wet, by the way. I'd avoid getting them wet while in the shower, but even with the steam and occasional water drop or two, they never came off. It's still hard to say whether they're truly waterproof or not. After running out, I found myself in the market for new lashes, and my first instinct was to order these again, but as I looked around, I found many more lash sets with everything included (the lashes, of course, glue and seal, tweezers, and remover) for less than half the price. I couldn't justify ordering these again with so many other best-selling options out there. With that being said, I ended up ordering a different set of lashes that I am very happy with. I say this to say: if they want to sell more of these, they absolutely must be competitive with their pricing, because there are too many other options out there. The current price for these is $42.99 versus the $16.99 I paid for my new set (which is the best-selling lashes on Amazon). Just my two cents!
